TripBudget started with a simple question: where can I go with what I have?
How it started
Our founder's mom has always dreamed of visiting Japan. While planning that trip from Colombia, we realized there was no easy way to know what everything would cost together (flight, hotel and visa) or where a budget could take you. So we built it. What we do
- Tell us how much you have and we'll show you where you can go, with real reference flight prices and a hotel estimate.
- If you already know where you're going, we put together three flight and hotel options and tell you which one fits your budget.
- We tell you whether you need a visa with your passport, and you can add up to three passports.
- You can set alerts so we let you know when a price drops.
How we make money
TripBudget is free. When you book through some of our links (for example, Aviasales or Klook), we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Results are sorted by price and budget, not by commission. We don't sell tickets or bookings: you always buy on the provider's site.
Where the data comes from
- Flights: live searches from Sky Scrapper (through RapidAPI) and reference prices from Aviasales (through Travelpayouts).
- Hotels: our own estimates by country, until we have a source of real prices.
- Visas: Passport Index (passport-index-dataset). It's a guide; always confirm with official sources.
- Exchange rates: ExchangeRate-API.
